Chelsea Zmetana PT
Physiotherapist
Chelsea (she/her) was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and completed an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia before earning a Master’s in Physiotherapy. She is thrilled to begin her career in private practice, having recently joined the clinic after completing her final placement there.
Throughout her studies and clinical placements, Chelsea has gained extensive experience across both private and public practice environments, treating a diverse range of patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiorespiratory conditions. She has developed a special interest in pelvic health, osteoarthritis and neurological conditions in all ages but especially in the older adult population.
Patient-centered care
Chelsea is passionate about providing patient-centered care, guided by every individual’s unique goals, experiences and challenges. Her approach combines education, exercise, including clinical pilates, and manual therapy techniques to optimize recovery, improve function and enhance overall health and wel-lbeing. She is committed to lifelong learning, continually growing and developing her skills as a physiotherapist and looks forward to expanding her knowledge during her time at Cedar.
Beyond her role at Cedar, Chelsea contributes to healthcare delivery at Vancouver General Hospital on a medical unit, gaining valuable experience in an acute care setting.
Hobbies
Outside of the clinic you can find her exploring the mountains and beaches of beautiful B.C with friends and family.
