Katya is a passionate Balanced Body trained physiotherapy assistant. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a BA, majoring in Health Science and minoring in Kinesiology. Katya works closely with your physiotherapists to promote, restore, and maintain your individual goals.

Katya has a strong understanding of movement provided by her background. Growing up in Russia, Katya was always active in sport: swimming, gymnastics and dance. During her undergrad, Katya functioned as a Student Team Trainer for the Women’s Basketball Team and worked closely with the Rehab Team at SFU. She went on to apply her education and skills in a variety of settings which allowed her to work closely with individuals of different rehabilitation needs.

Katya brings her compassion, humor and a strong understanding of the human body to every session. She is especially passionate about using clinical pilates as a personalized way to help restore balance and ease of movement in your body
